Local gem hunters, working with practiced hands and an instinct honed by generations, recovered a rough that carried a subtle warmth and translucence. The finished gem measures 5.52 x 4.78 x 3.22 mm, it is translucent, very slightly included evaluated at eye level, and bears an excellent polish that allows reflections to play across its dome without distraction.
