Deep under the earth, where mineral rich veins slept for millennia, this greenish blue aquamarine began its journey. Born of geological patience in Nigeria, the crystal slowly formed clarity and color through heat and pressure, carrying within it the cool memory of ocean light. At 1.65 carat, and measuring 7.62 x 7.82 x 5.88 mm, the stone was carefully selected for its transparent presence, its very slightly included clarity when viewed at eye level, and its light color saturation. Our master cutters at The Natural Gemstone Company chose the trillion cut to awaken the gem, shaping three graceful facets that catch and return light with a crystalline clarity, while an excellent polish reveals the aquamarine s subtle greenish blue breath. Each plane of the trillion cut tells a part of the stone s history, from its underground origin to the hands that coaxed its final form, creating a centerpiece that feels both ancient and freshly discovered.
Surrounding the aquamarine, a halo of white, round natural diamonds weighing approximately 0.266 carats was set to amplify the center stone s radiance. The diamonds, with clarity VS and color grade of F and G, were selected to complement rather than compete, offering bright, cool flashes that frame the trillion gem and enhance its oceanate hue. Set entirely in 14K rose gold, the warm metal provides a soft, embracing contrast to the gemstone s cool tone, turning the ring into a poem of color and craftsmanship. The delicate balance of materials, the precision of the setting, and the thoughtful provenance make this ring more than a piece of jewelry, it is a narrated object, a heritage of place and skill. Worn, it carries the story of Nigerian earth, of cutters and setters who honored the gem s natural gifts, and of The Natural Gemstone Company s commitment to bringing responsibly sourced beauty into wearable form, offering a ring that feels personal, storied, and enduring.
