5.37 Ct. Purplish Red Garnet from Tanzania

From the red earth of Tanzania this purplish red garnet began its life, hidden in veins of metamorphic rock, waiting for the patient hands that would reveal its inner fire. Our miners carefully extracted the rough, respecting the land and the communities that steward it, then sent the stone to skilled cutters who read the crystal like a map. The cutter decided on a cushion shape to honor the gem's natural proportions, then executed a faceted, mixed brilliant cut that brings both depth and scintillation to the surface. At 5.37 carats, and measuring 10.25 x 9.79 x 6.46 mm, this transparent garnet balances substantial presence with wearable proportions, its intense color emerging through an excellent polish that reflects the care invested at every stage of its journey.
