Born where mineral veins met time, the yellowish green peridots began as tiny pockets of olivine crystallized under the weight of volcanic rock, each stone carrying the warmth of ancient magma and the clarity of long cooling. Fourteen round cabochon peridots, weighing a total of 1.52 carats, were selected for their very very slightly included clarity and their intense color saturation. Alongside them, fourteen brown round cabochon quartzs, weighing a total of 1.20 carats, were chosen for their very slightly included clarity and their deep, concentrated tones. Each cabochon was shaped into a soft, domed silhouette that invites light to glide across its surface rather than break into facets, creating a gentle, luminous pulse. As daylight or evening light brushes the stones, the peridots transmit a verdant inner glow, while the brown quartzs return a warm, amber counterpoint, together composing a duet of color and depth.

In the studio the journey continued, each gem carefully polished to reveal its inner fire and cradled in luminous metal bezels that reflect and amplify the stones own radiance. The necklace measures 28.5 inches in length, a thoughtful span that allows the gems to settle across the collarbone and chest, catching light from every movement. The round cabochon cuts and the continuous bezel settings create a rhythmic sequence of glints and glows, so that when a wearer turns, the peridots shed flashes of yellowish green light and the quartzs respond with a honeyed, reflective shimmer. Tiny reflections bounce between stone and metal, magnifying each gem s intense saturation and clarity into a dazzling, wearable landscape.
