1.36 Ct. Green (Lime Green) Peridot from Pakistan

This peridot began its journey in the mineral rich deposits of Pakistan where careful hand extraction and initial sorting prioritized intact crystals and stable color. Selected rough material was transported to local cutters experienced with peridot, where the decision to fashion an oval shape with a mixed brilliant cut was made to maximize the stone's clarity and light return. Throughout cutting and pre finishing, the rough was evaluated in daylight and controlled lighting to preserve its intense lime green hue and transparent character. Final polishing was completed to an excellent standard, producing crisp facet junctions and a smooth table, with no heat or chemical treatments applied at any stage. The finished gem is a transparent 1.36 carat oval shape green peridot with dimensions of 8.14 x 6.09 x 4.07 mm, a mixed brilliant cut, very slightly included clarity when evaluated at eye level, intense color intensity, and excellent polish. No enhancements have been applied. Visual inspection shows a lively play of light across the pavilion and crown facets, a clean table field consistent with the very slightly included grade, and a saturated lime green tone that remains uniform across multiple orientations. The measured proportions and cut style contribute to strong return of light while maintaining stability of color and minimizing windowing.
